Fiesta of Lights: Akshay Pratishthan’s Diwali Bazaar

The information in this post might be outdated

Without at least one trip to a mela, Diwali would, we think, feel very incomplete. The Diwali bazaar- Fiesta of Lights- that the NGO Akshay Pratishthan puts together every year, has gained quite a bit of popularity, and this year, with over 150 stalls showcasing a variety of products {and food too}, this is one mela you should definitely check out.

Shop, baby, shop!

We love any and every opportunity to shop {provided our pockets let us}, and the Akshay Pratishthan Diwali Bazaar is no exception. With over 150 exhibitors selling home décor, furniture, clothing, handicrafts, accessories, and much, much more, we’ll be very surprised if you don’t find what you’re looking for.

Brand basics

Here’s a tiny glimpse of the brands you’ll find when you’re there: Ragini Singhania & Omaana for Indian wear, Chiquitita for festive wear for kids, Adora & On Our Own for bags, Needledust and Flori for footwear, Homeight and Trays N Bins for home décor items, and Fresco for pretty Chinaware.

And while we’re talking of buying things, don’t forget to check out Akshay Pratishthan’s very own stall that’ll feature art & craft items made by the kids from the NGO.
