What Is It?
A "Movies & Chill" film screening night at Akshara that's the result of an awesome collaboration with DrinksOnMe and Sunset Cinema – we’re already prepping our picnic basket, {crackers, marmalade and all} and looking forward to being wrapped up in oversized sweaters, huddled around our gang for this dim-lit night scene.
Who Is It For?
Those who’ve had enough of brawling babies in closed movie theatres and are craving a dose of the outdoors.
Plus, there's added incentive for those who can't imagine watching films without a tub of grub in their hand – see the food stall there?
Why Should I Go For It?
For starters, the film fest isn't trying hard to please with thought-provoking documentaries. Instead, it has decided to reach out to young movie-goers who enjoy films the way they’re supposed to be enjoyed – with popcorn in one hand and soda in the other.
The idea is to screen a cult movie in an alternative setting, DrinksOnMe tells us. We don't know about you, but we're nodding enthusiastically in agreement.
