After announcing their foray into Mumbai last year, Bangalore’s favourite brewpub, Toit, is finally open.

Just Chill

OK, Blue Frog was iconic, but when you say goodbye to one legendary place, you can rest assured that another will replace it. In this case, it’s Toit, one of Bangalore’s best microbreweries. And when it comes to beer, you don’t really mess with Bangaloreans. But what’s great about the Mumbai Toit is that they are weaving in signature drinks, and vibes, from the original Toit and their other enterprise in Bangalore, The Permit Room {better known as TPR, a melting pot of the quirks and culture that are quintessentially South Indian}. Done up mostly in wood, with high ceilings, and booths for privacy, there’s also plenty of space to just mill about with your drinks, for when you want to keep it casual. Old school rock and chart toppers will keep you company in the music department, so if you’re looking for some serious fun, chill vibes and a Bangalore-style atmosphere, you’re in for a treat.

Expect on-point pub grub which work well with your beer and cocktails. Think lamb brain in little parcels and Kerala beef fry which is spicy beef on coin parathas which is courtesy TPR and deconstructed Scotch Eggs and an array of sourdough pizzas {get in!}. This is like heaven on earth, y’all and we’re not even talking beer yet!

Cheers To That

Being a brewpub at heart, get ready to fuel up on six of their signature brews. Pick from Dark Knight {the rich and smooth brew that is chocolate meets coffee meets}, Colonial Toit {your classic English ale}, Toit Red {a bitter sweet hoppy beer}, Tintin Toit {your soon to be favourite Belgian wit}, Basmati Blonde {the blonde, duh} and Toit Weiss {the cloudy German Hefeweizen}. Mumbai, you’re in for a treat as they’re hoping to do a whole lot of experimentation as they have a production facility near Pune. Make sure to save some loving for their quirky cocktails. Think G Strings {yup, we’re talking cocktails still}, that blend vodka, Tripel Sec, watermelon and mint, and Whiskey Rasam which is truly like a magical concoction of whiskey, ginger, chilli, rasam powder and curry leaves.

So Mumbai, tonoit get Full Toit?
