For all you Hauz Khas Village frequenters, remember Boheme, circa Gunpowder days? Allow us to refresh your memory. In the same building as Golconda Bowl, on the top floor, it probably had the best view in all of Hauz Khas Village {you can see the entire lake!}. Boheme has since shut down, replaced its plates with pillows, spoons with sheets, and bowls with beds. Now called The Lazy Patio, Boheme is still exploiting its view, this time around as a bed and breakfast.

You're probably thinking {we definitely were} where all the space is for a legit bed and breakfast. But, The Lazy Patio did some clever rearranging, and now houses 3 massive rooms available to book. They offer the regular amenities including Wi-Fi, food on request, en-suite bathrooms, and breakfast, and all rooms are double occupancy. The three rooms are all named {The Hut, The Glass Room and a Work in Progress}, and each one boasts a different size, vibe and view. The Glass Room, just in case you didn't catch on, has the best positioning on the gorgeous terrace, has walls made of glass {don't throw stones} and has the good fortune of a great view from wherever you stand in it. The Hut was our personal favourite. The biggest room at The Lazy Patio, it can sleep four, since it is divided into two sections, one with a double bed and the other with a sofa-cum bed. The best part is the massive screen and projector in The Hut, guests of which can take full advantage. The third and final room {naming is still in process}, is a regular sized double room, complete with an en-suite bathroom. The terrace and dining area are all common areas for guests. They also have available a work station for when you're travelling sans laptops/phones/tablets/whatever else exists.

They're still fixing the bugs, and hope to be operational within a week. They have plans of helping guests with travel and tours, both within and outside the city, and are aimed at young travellers who are looking for new experiences, ones that don't involve hotels and inns. What works wonders is their prime location. Smack in the middle of one of the most happening neighborhoods in the Capital, the convenience of it is upstaged only by the oppurtunity it gives you to live like a local.
