As an all ladies crew, we’re all too familiar with the thought of doing the whole six yards, especially come the most festive time of the year. So we decided to bring in the experts, and simplify your wardrobe and style choices. Turns out - Ladies, It’s not Complicated!

When it comes to the thought of putting oneself in a sari, it is safe to assume most of us ladies are cut from the same cloth. Those six yards have overwhelmed the best of us, even if our trusted parlour lady has pinned every pleat down in place. What we need is the confidence to conquer this cloth, to drape ourselves in it effortlessly, and be sure it isn’t coming off anytime soon {well, not unintentionally anyway…}. Enter Ekaya. They’re handpicking some gorgeous Banarasi saris from their latest collections, each with its own drape and statement, and showing you the art of putting yourself {and staying} in it gracefully. They’re also lining up a range of blouses, so you can pick a combo that reflects your aesthetic.

Doing what we do in style, LBB is going the whole 9 yards for our fabulous female readers, and is proud to also partner with hair and make up experts Powder Room, and much talked about jewellery brand, Nimai, on the afternoon in question.

Powder Room is brushing aside your standard kajal and lip gloss, and trading them in for lessons in more contemporary, traditional, and sultry looks, all designed to suit the aesthetic of the sari you choose, the occasion in question, and your personality. Piecing it all together will be select pieces from Nimai, detailing and emphasising how accessories can be so much more than the traditional polki or kundan. Who knows, you might discover that you can pull off that headpiece with smokey eyes after all!

Bring your girlfriend, sister, mom, or even your 18 year old niece {first time wearers, conquer your fears here!}, and your sparkling personalities. We’re bringing the experts to handle the rest.
