When I finally binge-watched the third season of 'Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives', one character who truly captivated me with her nonchalant attitude and charismatic nature was Shalini Passi. Unsurprisingly, she also made waves on social media, with her statements from the series quickly becoming meme-worthy content. ‘It’s Shalini Passi’s world, and we are just living in it’—this statement rang true as I finished the series and couldn’t get her quirky behaviour, one-liners, and eclectic fashion sense out of my mind. So, when I had the chance to speak with Shalini, I dove right in and asked her all about her favourite things in the world, from fashion to art, books, and more.
A Few Of Shalini Passi's Favourite Things
Favourite Travel Destination
"My favourite travel destination has to be Leh, Ladakh," says Shalini, adding that its picturesque views and serene landscape make it the perfect getaway. "A close second is Paris for its rich culture and stunning architecture. Finally, for spiritual tourism, nothing beats Varanasi, especially known for its beautiful ghats and temples."

Favourite Artwork
As an artist and art connoisseur herself, Shalini's favourite artwork is a sculpture called 'Venus de Milo' by Alexandros, which depicts the Greek goddess of love, Aphrodite. "It is absolutely iconic and stands as a testament to the beauty of the female form."
Favourite Jewellery Brand
"Internationally, I love Cartier and Bulgari for their exquisite craftsmanship. And in India, I am a big fan of Manish Malhotra's jewellery line as it seamlessly blends traditional heritage with new-age sensibilities."

Favourite Fashion Designers
"In terms of fashion, I absolutely adore the collections of Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander McQueen, and Schiaparelli as they exude sophistication and grace. Closer to home, I'll have to go with the late Rohit Bal who has been rightly labelled a fashion maven. Other designers like Gaurav Gupta, Manish Malhotra, and Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, are equally good."
Favourite Hangout Spot In Delhi
As someone who enjoys her personal space and values comfort, Passi's choice of hangout spot comes as no surprise. "My go-to hangout spot where I like to host my family and friends has to be my own home."
Favourite Skincare Brand
"Skincare brands that have been truly transformational for me are La Mer and Obagi for their rich, creamy formulations that still feel like a feather on your skin."

Favourite Makeup Essentials
"I cannot do without my Huda Beauty lipsticks and lipliners. Equally incredible is the Armani Foundation that leaves a sheer tint on your skin. Being a makeup junkie, I love checking out the newest finds. Charlotte Tilbury has some great products as well, especially their Pillow Talk lipstick, which is such a rage."

Favourite Book
"A must-read novel is the evergreen classic 'Gone with the Wind' by Margaret Mitchell. I absolutely love the film adaptation of the book as well. I recently read the spiritual classic 'Autobiography of a Yogi' by Paramhansa Yogananda, which has quickly become a favourite too."
Favourite Cuisine
“I love Indian cuisine. There is nothing quite like ghar ka khaana. I also adore Chinese, but nothing tops home-cooked meals.”
