The Scratchy Nib is conducting a workshop at Church Street Social on Sunday, May 28 for those looking to get the basics of modern calligraphy right. And all those who sign up for this will receive their very own calligraphy kit with high-quality supplies, including a flex nib, nib holder, sumi ink, three types of guideline sheets, and over 30 samples to practice from. Have A Pitch Perfect Saturday With Penn Masala

The world’s first South Asian a capella group Penn Masala is coming to town this weekend. Known for their Hindi-English mashups such as Shape Of You/Mann Mera and Tonight/Diliwaali Girlfriend, these guys are certified awesome. The group will be doing a multi-city India tour, to celebrate the release of their new album Yuva, and will be performing live in the city this Saturday. So head over to the Skydeck at Whitefield’s VR Bengaluru, and watch these guys create a musical experience using just their vocals. Read more about it here.

Go On A Midsummer Night's Picnic

Gathr is putting together a night picnic at The Courtyard House this Saturday. Start things off with a conversation on protein, before diving into a Mixed Meditative Arts session, followed by mixed-media artist Dara Okat Godzuki bringing out his sarod and taking you through the magical passages of Raag Bhupali, a pentatonic Raaga. There will also be a pop up store by Ravi and the Goobe’s Book Republic so you can pick up everything from sci-fi novels and popular science volumes. Wrap things up with a performance by Aparamparagata, with Brandon and Muki, on the didgeridoo.
