Plan A Weekend Getaway At This 100-Year-Old Villa In Chikamangalur

What Makes It Awesome?

A 100-year-old villa situated in the middle of the forest surrounded by a coffee plantation. Almost 15 km from the city, away from the hustle bustle, Athithi Homestay is a relaxing place in the lap of mother nature. There is nothing fancy about this homestay, it's just an old building depicting the story of the past. You can just sit on the couch in the verandah with a cup of hot coffee, and watch the time lapse of the sky, hear the chirping of the birds all around, and admire the essence of the unknown flower and coffee. The roads are rough and uneven, and there's no street light.

This homestay is decent and the chef, Krishna, makes delicious food. So if not for the location, you'd definitely want to come back for the food.

There is a big lake nearby the homestay, and you can go for a morning walk in the vast coffee estate.

The stay is super reasonable, and you can contact the owner for more details.

The road facilities need to be improved.
