What Makes It Awesome

Bound by their love for cooking and feeding other people, Noelene Fernandez (also known as June) and her best friend, Sylvia Sharma, started Aunty’s June Kitchen. The home-catering unit takes on small, party orders and is aimed at those of you want homely, wholesome food for your gathering.

After decades of experience in the kitchen, both cooks are offering their skills to the rest of the world. Nolene specialises in Anglo Indian treats and her mutton curry, meatball curry with Devil Chutney, Coconut Rice, and cutlets are worth trying. She also makes a mean Vindaloo, we hear. Sylvia Sharma, on the other hand, masters many cuisines. She can make a killer South-Indian style fish curry and fish fry as easily as she can serve up an Au Gratin or Shepherd’s Pie. Her Mutton Pepper Fry and Chilly Pork are also excellent.

Aunty June’s Kitchen is up for taking orders for as little as two plates (these work at INR 100 for a veg plate and 150 for non-veg). Basic meals include rice, curry (vegetarian or meaty) and a side of veggies. For party orders, they can cook for around 40 people. The pricing depends on the number of people attending as well as what you order. Call Sylvia on 95335848762 and she'll curate a menu according to what you need (down to spice levels!). On the day, you can go ahead and pick up the order from her home, and return her utensils once you're done.

Pro-Tip

For smaller parties, you can go ahead and pick up the food, or arrange a Dunzo. You will need to arrange for the latter however.
