Ten-second takeaway

A food truck and music festival, all rolled into one? We couldn't have asked for more. This Sunday, the nightclub and bar, Pebble will turn into a hotspot for the city's first ever food truck festival, co-hosted by Kitsch Mandi.

If music be the food of love

And where there's food, can music be far behind? Apart from the opportunity to stuff your faces at seven food trucks, a live gig line up as part of the Outta Nowhere Music Festival will be the other highlight. The music fest will see a line up of DJs such as Panic, BIG DEAL, Smokey, Leathal and more, along with local hip hop act the Low Rhyderz.

Trucker central

With seven trucks participating in this festival, the food action on the scene might just get out of hand. While The Spitfire BBQ truck will serve up classic hot dogs and barbecue chilli chicken pops, The SWAT Truck will do their Molten Cheese Nachos, Peri Peri Prawns, Deep Fried Oreos and more. For Indian and north Indian combos, look no further than The Great Indian Bhukkad, and Foodipa will serve up chaat on a truck with kachoris, samosas and Chole Bhature thrown in for good measure in this mix. Fuel Up specialises in Potato Skins, Burrito Bowls and Churros, Square Ruth might just floor you with its French Toast and Chicken Wings and Wicked Chef, whose menu reads like a Goan shack on wheels, might serve up their Beer Battered Fish and Chips and Banana and Maple Pancakes.
