World Cinema, Asian, Indian, Kannada — BIFFest offers a wide variety of local and international films, as well as showcasing restored classics and biopics to name a few. Last year's edition featured 230 films from over 45 counties. British film I, Daniel Blake by Ken Loach, Polish film After Image by Andrzej Wajda, Lebanese film Very Big Shot by Mir-Jean Bou Chaaya — these are just a few titles you can expect to catch over this weeklong film festival that's coming to town in February! With that many films, it can get a bit overwhelming to figure out where to go and what to watch. BIFFest is making things simpler, screening all films across eleven screens at PVR Cinemas in Orion Mall!

Above And Beyond

Going beyond a typical film festival, BIFFest will curate workshops on screenwriting, sound design, and documentary film making, as well as panels on gender sensitivity, evolving technology and the future of Kannada cinema. There's also a competition, so if you're a budding filmmaker, here's your chance to have the spotlight shine on your work!
