Bringing together Bangaloreans and their love for books, culture and the written and spoken word, the Bangalore Literature Festival is back! This weekend at The LaLit Ashok, check out the exciting lineup including re-visiting guests like Shobha De and Arundhati Nag among other other wordsmiths and storytellers. Conversations with writers, book readings, plenty of activities and events around children’s literature (we'd 100% recommend this for kids who love reading or writing), and of course, performances (don't miss out on the sitar-cello duet) and even sales of books across genres. Over 150 writers and speakers are expected to be in attendance including Shashi Tharoor, Barkha Dutt, Humra Quraishi, Nandan Nilekani, Ramachandra Guha. And then go on and pick who your favourite piece of English or Kannada writing is for 2018, so they can win the Atta Galatta - Bangalore Lit Fest Book Prize 2018.
