Winning For

The funky furniture, the garage-style interior with a lot of grey-blue decor that gives very chilled out vibes, and the music that leaves you grooving be it commercial or underground

Lowdown On The Ambience

Be it the jeans upholstery of the sofa or the large mural of Bangalore city near the entrance, the whole pub-cafe has a very chilled out if not funky ambience to it. It’s situated in the happening 5th Block of Koramangala, next to Bathinda Junction, so you can be sure that there’s always a crowd during peak hours. But not to worry, there’s enough seating available, both downstairs and upstairs. And in case you’ve to wait for a bit, do it by the large bar on one side of the downstairs seating area while grooving to music. The music here is both commercial and underground — perfect for those tipsy dance scenes. A huge shout out to the music system as well, because we noticed that however loud the music was, you could still hear the person sitting next to you without having to scream your lungs out.

Indian-Continental Food Route

The food here is very Indian-Continental — from pasta to pandi curry and achari aloo to pizza. We started off with Kung Pao Baby Potatoes, a spicy bar nibble that goes well with a bottle of Kingfisher Ultra. We love our nachos cheesy and with a generous amount of topping and these guys serve just the way we like it. Although little extra jalapenos wouldn’t hurt. If you are a fan of thin crust pizzas, you will like the ones served here. Unlike the biscuity crust that you get in certain cafes around Koramangala, the one here is done just good. The chicken is quite spicy and settles well with the drinks. To finish off, we ordered the deep-fried banana-Nutella wontons that are dusted with sugar. In a mad rush to stuff our mouth with these insanely good wontons all our diet plans were forgotten.

In High Spirits

From your regular LIITs to Whisky Sour, the bar serves up the usual array of drinks. Even the usual suspects for those crazy nights such as Kamikaze and Jagerbomb shots are available. Apart from this, for that teetotaller in the group, there’s a selection of mocktails.

So, We Are Thinking...

We really want those extra jalapenos in our nachos the next time we go there. And also, they should stop serving up those yummy wontons {to us}. We need to diet!
