When Naseeruddin Shah and Vikram Seth Come Together

The information in this post might be outdated

This Thursday, you have the chance to watch Vikram Seth and James Thurber's Beastly Tales come to life - in a dramatised reading of the couplets by Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Heeba Shah, and Kenny Desai.

Beastly Tales  is a lighthearted collection of fables, written in verse, featuring animals and tales from around the world. Young listeners are sure to enjoy the performance {called Beastly Tales by Motley} - which is open to all ages - but there's plenty that older viewers will enjoy as well, such as perceptive insights into the animal and human worlds.

Besides the treat of watching Naseeruddin Shah, {and co.} animate the reading, of course, we're looking forward to watching how they imagine and voice the words of the book's protagonists such as crocodiles and snakes. It promises to be entertaining beginning to end, especially with a few unexpected twists in the tale.
