When Maggi Meets Burger
The dish is actually nothing. It is just two burger buns, toasted, slathered with a spicy and piquant mayo, and then a layer of anda bhurji {packed with green chillies, onions, masalas and coriander} is added to it. This is then packed in with cooked Masala Maggi, and the bun at the top seals the deal. The sticky mayo helps the buns stick together. But the composition somehow works and is rather tasty with the spicy mayo playing its part in bringing the egg and the Maggi together. Beware, eating this burger can get pretty messy, so keep plenty of tissues on hand. There’s also hand sanitiser at the counter, if you want to clean your hands post pigging out.
Priced at just INR 60, The Bun Anda Maggi makes for a nice filling snack. Though Bun Maska Chai does other snacks such as poha, versions of Maggi, and sandwiches, we’d say stick to the Maggi burger for the novelty factor.
