A "socially responsible" makeover for your wardrobe is in order with the Conscious Closet Party on International Women's Day.

Been planning for a shopping trip to revamp your wardrobe? Well, you are in luck because you might just get to score some apparel without spending a penny. Too good to be true? The Conscious Closet Party, a clothes swapping event to be held on International Women's Day, will let you do just that. Organised by Shenomics (a leadership coaching platform for women), the event focusses on the benefits of swapping, such as recycling of garments and extending their life. And, of course, it doesn't burn a hole in the pocket either!
No shopping, only swapping
Take along your almost-new or less worn outfits and exchange them with the others at the event. Simple as that! And, while you're at it, you also get to make some friends over a bunch of clothes. So, bring out those tops, bottoms, dresses, sarees, scarves and hats that have been rarely worn but are in mint condition (neatly washed and ironed, too). All unswapped items will be donated, to be sold later on and proceeds will go to Educate Girls.
