What Makes It Awesome?

That one tiny cottage where Snow white enters and she finds a whole new world open for her is the exact same feel one will get as one enters the Dyu Art Cafe in Koramangala. A paradise for bibliophiles and art aficionados, this place which resembles a vintage little French-styled hut on the outside is in fact a two-storeyed, well-spaced cafe, which a beautifully filled bookshelf and wall arts on the entrance.

We went there on a sombre evening, 5 of us and ordered the Lemon tea and masala coffee to go with the chocolate cake, lemon cream pie and cheesecake.

Served in adorable little plays and cups, the dishes presented a perfect setting for a tea party. In terms of taste, the chocolate cake and the lemon cheesecake were extremely good. I have a slight hankering for lemon based desserts in terms of a tinge of soury nature that they bring, and I wasn't disappointed this time as well. Chocolate cake, albeit a little heavy, was a perfect completion to the tea, a soothing, calming feel for the evening. The cheesecake, however, failed to impress me. Harder than usual, it tastes more on the biscuity side than that of a cake. The masala coffee too was a little off the mark. A sip of it couldn't tell me if any coffee beans were actually present in the concoction.

Overall, I'd say that the vibe and decor of this place surpassed the food that I was served with it. So, if you are in for a cozy little site to spend some time with your friends, this is a place to be
