Shortcut

The Curly Coelho Cottage is where you need to check in with the squad the next time you are in Goa. Bonus includes the tiny private beach and the stone’s throw distance from the Dona Paula jetty.

Weekend In Goa

Life in this Goan village homestay is all about calm and relaxed vibes. Your day could start with a jog at the tiny private beach or having a cup of coffee from the sea-facing terrace. Or you could even wake up to the birds chirping away from the coconut and mango trees that surround the idyllic homestay that’s by the bay of the Dona Paula beach. Even the location of this villa is perfect — North and South Goa is easily accessible by public transport. Did we tell you about Babulal? He’s the resident man Friday who’s always at your beck and call, can run your errands, and help you feel at home. With such cool facilities, this surely must be #WeekingInGoa and #SquadGoals, right, guys?

Ten Times The Fun

The cottage, a fully serviced villa, comes with three bedrooms that can accommodate up to 10 people at a time. You know what that means, right? Time to create a WhatsApp group {‘Goa 2017’ or ‘GOAAA!!!’} with the squad!  A master bedroom with an attached bath and two bedrooms with private balconies and a common bath are what make up the sleeping space.

Furnished from top to bottom, the living room that opens out to the greens and furnished with sofas that you could crash and read is perhaps the best space of the house. But stealing the thunder, especially during the night, would be the terrace that gives you the view of the sea. The fully equipped kitchen is for you to use and cook up anything from Maggi to a 5-course meal. Of course, you need to get your own items or ask Babulal to help you out. Your amenities include the usual WiFi facilities and the likes. In case you are driving down from Bangalore to Goa, there’s even parking space for two cars.

Jettying Around

The Dona Paula jetty is the nearest tourist spot. A walk along the beach will get you to the well known Miramar beach. At the jetty, which is a photo-op point, see if you can spot Vasco Da Gama’s port trust and the lighthouse at Fort Aguada all far away but in direct view. There are several activities that you and your gang could do at the jetty. For instance, water sports such as windsurfing are big here. If you are doing a bit of solo exploration, there’s plenty of shopping and eating for you to do. We hear dolphin sighting and sunsets are pretty huge there as well. You could also drive down to Panjim City which is roughly a 15-minute drive away from the villa. There’s even frequent public transport as well.

Booking The Villa

According to the information of Airbnb, per night stay is priced at INR 6999 for six people {roughly INR 1166 per person} and an additional INR 1000 per night for every additional guest. There’s even a security deposit of INR 15000, but when we tried booking, those charges didn’t pop up.
