What Makes It Awesome

There's no art without fashion and vice versa. In short, they go hand in hand, and Mansi By Sudha Kumar, a homespun designer clothing and jewellery label does an exceptionally good job of depicting the same. This brand run by a mother-daughter power team designs all kinds of gorgeousness keeping in mind the physique and taste of the everyday Indian woman. Whatte a relief, we are overjoyed!

Sudha Kumar, the Founder is the brains behind the creations with her boutique featuring designer and ethnic sarees, kurtis for office wear, other fabric hand-painted apparel and jewellery. For one, we are bowled over by how elegant some of the stuff is (you are bound to find a piece for you) here after we chanced upon their Instagram page. We hear, the Rare Banarasi and Tussar Silk Sarees are bestsellers but the Ogaan Floral Silk Sarees (lightweight & summer-friendly), custom block prints and Kalamkari sarees are equally stunning. With prices starting at just INR 1,000, looking like a diva also comes easy with Mansi!

We also love the collection of kurtis, each piece hand painted and my do the bright florals (think sunflowers and roses), and boho ikkat designs kill! What is admirable is the attention to precision, each piece is exclusive and tailor made for its body type. Because after all, Mansi specialises in dresses that snugly fits its wearer, emphasising the best of their figures. Designer gowns and half sarees are also available for purchase. This range is priced INR 1,500 upwards.

Besides designer wear, Mansi also takes your old abandoned jewellery and turns it into an exclusive piece of art. They repurpose the piece and add or take away from it so you can flaunt what was lying away in the back of the jewellery box all over again! We love the idea. Most of the pieces we spot are giving us regal princess vibes.
