No Weekend Plans? Go Road Tripping And Trekking With This Travel Collective

This weekend, go on a long drive followed by a trek with a group of like-minded travellers from the Road Trips Co. You'll be lead by ace trekker Dhiraj Shenoy, so even if you're just a beginner to trekking, you have nothing to worry about! Both two and four-wheelers are welcome, so whether you want to go alone or with a group of friends or your entire fam (kids included!), it's no problem. How it works is, you register, meet at either of the two assembly points (one is at Shanti Sagar Hotel in South End Circle, and the second one is at Esteem Mall in Hebbal) and reach the trek base by 11 p.m. on Saturday. After the trek, you reach back to Bangalore by 10 a.m. the following morning, just in time to catch your Sunday snooze.

Chota Skandagiri is a lesser known destination in Chikabalapura and its hilltop is a lovely place to set up camp!

Make sure to fuel up before the trip, and carry water, yoga bars or fruits to keep your energy up. Also, bring your vehicle documentation, helmet (if you're going by bike) and wear a jacket to stay warm!
