What Makes It Awesome?

Farzi cafe has recently come up with their new menu, which is exclusively created giving some farzi twist to it. The dishes will definitely make you drool over it uncontrollably. Kudos to Zorawar Kalra, the owner, for being the main driving force behind all the dishes on the new menu.

* Khao suey soup with black garlic dust: Inspired from the traditional khao suey of Burma.

* Paya Sorba, cocktail appam: Very light mutton soup, exactly what your heart wants on a rainy afternoon or evening.

* Edamame hummus with kori roti crisp: Edamame is basically immature soybean in a pod, which is added to traditional hummus made out of chickpeas, tahini etc., and this is served with crisp kori roti. A very uniquely flavoured dish to try!

*Squid rawa fry, shrimp dust: Is served with roasted tomato and ginger chutney, the accompaniment complements the main dish very well, and extra crunch due to fried rawa makes it even more awesome.

* Tellicherry pepper chicken tikka with pomegranate pachadi: Chicken tikka with a Keralian twist in flavour, served with pomegranate pachadi, which is nothing but a South Indian style raita, seasoned with mustard.

*Nati style mutton mudde curry: Homestyle, slow cooked baby goat served with beans poriyal and traditional ragi balls.

* Nendra banana custard tart w/d tender coconut ice cream: This dish is a very well collation of Nendran banana and jaggery custard tart. The Farzi Cafe twist in it is the use of elements like jaggery pepper sauce and tender coconut ice cream, praline, banana marmalade, chocolate banana pops, which take this dish on another level.
