Fort Kochi is a family run mess. It also has a small amount of regulars haunting it everyday, therefore extra attention is paid to every customer by the staff. And you know what they say: a warm welcome leads to a great experience. There is no ambience to speak of her, but trust us you will only be focusing on the food once it arrives on your table. Diners can get a glimpse of their food being prepared in the kitchen, through a window in the wall. Our favourite here is the Chicken Biryani and their Chicken Fry. Fort Kochi also has a typical mess system, where you can pay a bulk amount of INR 2,500 for the month and eat hearty breakfast and dinner, with non-vegetarian on the menu four times a week. For hardcore non-vegetarians, this mess also has come up with a monthly plan where you pay INR 3,000 and you can enjoy non-vegetarian food every day.
