Shortcut

Celebrate Friendship Day (or your friendship in general) by taking a walk on the Rangoli Metro Art Center’s esplanade and stop by Friendship Point.

What Makes It Awesome

For starters, it’s free. The Friendship Point installation at the Rangoli Art Center is a fun way to commemorate your amazing friendship with your BFF, or new that friend you made at a party recently.

The Friendship Point is one of the many interactive art installations on the esplanade, right next to the Rangasthala theatre. You can identify it by the interwoven grill pattern (or the board), meant for tying friendship bands like you did back in school, so you can have a look at it every time you walk by. Once you’re done with your tying and photo sesh, you can have a look at some of the art installations, or play at the life-size snakes and ladder board, and possibly make new friends while you’re at it!

Pro-Tip

There’s no parking there, so we recommend public transport. Ideally the Metro.
