What used to be Thai eatery Lan Thai on Brigade Road, became Thai House last year. Though the eatery changed hands, and also names, the Pad Thai remains as authentic as ever. And the good news is that Thai House has opened a branch in Indiranagar. And we are getting our chopsticks out in excitement already.
The menu includes everything from spicy chicken or beef salads to the Thai Papaya Salad {you can add on salted eggs or pickled fish for intensity}. They also do some really nice all-in-one meals where you can tuck into fried rice with veggies, chicken prawn, seafood or beef, and this comes with a fried egg. But what we would recommend here is Thai House’s wonderful Pad Thai. Flat noodles come slathered with the nutty, sweet and spicy Pad Thai sauce, and topped with crunchy sprouts, herbs and a dash of lime. You can pick from chicken, vegetarian, prawn and squids. Thai House also does quintessential Thai curries, Tom Kha and Tom Yum versions, and more. Wash it all down with their Iced Coffee or end your meal with mangoes and sticky rice.
