GAP’s latest collection is all about bringing in a splash of colours to the otherwise grey winter. Oh! And prints that will light up your outfit.

Ideally suited to Bangalore’s not-so-freezing climes, this latest collection from the American apparel company is mixing it up with sweaters, distressed jeans, quintessential hoodies and some accessories. Fair Isle chunky sweaters can be perfectly paired with festive leggings, and you’re set for a cosy night out. And what we most adore and think will be the main trend this winter is their Intarsia woollies. Weaved with differently coloured wool, the sweaters form patterns on the front or back. Think Snoopy, snowflakes and abstract patterns that can be teamed with the brand’s trademark distressed jeans for a casual chic look. Technicolour patterns will mix in with darker hues for those who aren’t too thrilled about wandering about in bright pink, orange or red.

Apart from that, blanket coats in the military style {we’re thinking skinnies and boots with that}, joggers, sweater pants and of course, distressed jeans are on the shelves. Finish the winter look with warm accessories including knit hats, gloves, and scarves. From the kiddy section, which is absolutely adorable, they have Christmassy sweaters, cutesy onsies for infants and cute-as-a-button overalls for toddlers.
