Poovar Back Waters, It is a beautiful and tranquil experience to silently row through the calm waters of Neyyatinkara. The ideal time would be to go early in the morning to witness the water come alive with aquatic birds and plants. Do look out for bald eagle and other beautiful water creatures if you are keen on bird photography.
There is plenty of thick vegetation surrounding the river and at times, it would appear like you are entering into a dark forest deep inside the river. An amazing and wonderful experience that everyone must go through when in Poovar island. The boating ends near the golden beach of Poovar.
