What Makes It Awesome

Popularly known as UDP, this place would be easy to miss if not for the crowd that gathers here. It is like a shack with no seating arrangements. One must stand on the pavement and eat. The service is super-fast and the staff here are nice, polite and humble.

A quick scan of the menu gave us different varieties of dosas. We ordered their masala dosa and their idlis. The masala dosa was cooked in pure Nandini ghee and was crisp and yummy. The aloo stuffing inside was quite rich and filled with cashews and came along with 2 types of chutney. The highlight of the meal was their idli which was light and fluffy. He puts ghee on it and serves with 2 chutneys. {I usually hate idli but I fell in love with this one instantly}. The three masala dosas and one idli together set me back by just INR 210 which is inexpensive and totally worth it.

There is no parking, so take a cab. Also, one has to eat on the streets, so if you are travelling with children, make sure to watch out for vehicles!
