Badminton, Table Tennis Or Zumba - This Sports Arena In Yelahanka Has It All

Golden Racquets is a fitness arena that has facilities where you can play badminton, table tennis and Zumba. It has all the fancy stuff, so it’s pretty cool too!

Located in Yelahanka, near the Police Station, Golden Racquets is a sports facility where you can play badminton, table tennis, learn how to Zumba and chill out, at the upcoming cafe.

There are six badminton courts so you can practice or learn to become the next Prakash Padukone or Saina Nehwal. And luckily, you won’t have to keep waiting for a court since there are quite a few. They have internationally-approved wooden floors for their badminton courts and all the right infrastructure and equipment so that you have the best facilities available to you while you play. If you don’t have the equipment necessary for badminton, they do provide racquets and shoes to rent for INR 30 and INR 50 an hour.

But if you’re looking to play a game of table tennis, then you’ll have to bring your own racquet and ball, as they don’t rent these out. If you wish to learn, there are coaching classes for TT every Monday, Wednesday and Friday {classes are from 5pm to 6pm } which you can sign up for by paying INR 2,000 per month.

Zumba classes are also part of the schedule here and happen every morning. So if you need that much-needed push to exercise, sign up for these hour-long sessions, led by certified instructor Mouna Shashi. As of now though, they have classes for ladies only. So lads, you’re going to have to wait or start a petition to be included in these ones!

The membership costs are divided over the weekend and weekday memberships that you can take quarterly, half yearly or yearly. A basic weekday membership for three months costs INR 5,000. For badminton, there are coaching classes which for the basic level cost INR 5,000 a month, on weekdays. If you want to just come and play, the minimum rate over the week is INR 250 an hour. Zumba classes are INR 2,000 and for table tennis, you can pay INR 150 an hour and play away.
