Curated by CounterCulture (and who didn’t love the music that came out of that spot in Whitefield), Indie March shines the spotlight on independent Indian musicians and we’re thrilled about that. We’ve always loved the breed of musicians at this one and cannot wait for this, their fourth edition.
Who’s on?
Across the two days, Homeboys Parvaaz will take the stage, as will neighbours Skrat, heading here from Chennai. Plus, India’s Nu-Disco pride, and live EDM artist and crowd-fave Dualist Inquiry. Household names Parekh and Singh, Shepherd, Avial and Pangea will also take to one of the five stages as headliners, among lesser known artistes. But that is the point, no?
Foreign import performances include 65daysofstatic from England bringing in instrumental electronic post/math rock while Color Haze, considered the founders of stoner rock, from Germany, pitch in with psychedelic rock. Over from Scotland, you can expect to have an 80s flashback with Happy Meals, an EDM duo. Oh! And stick around for The Manganiar Seduction performance, if you haven’t seen it before you’ll be mesmerised. If you have seen it before, you probably know that you’ll be left in awe, again.
