Ten-second takeaway
Featuring clowns, jugglers, magicians and several other artistes from across the globe, this year’s International Clown Festival promises to keep you entertained.

The joke's on you

For those of you who have always enjoyed the silly antics of the quintessential circus clown, we have news that might just make you clap with glee. The International Clown Festival is in town with its fourth edition, offering two whole evenings of fun and entertainment! Just in time for a day out with your family to celebrate Children’s Day, we think.

Jugglers and jokers

The producer of the festival and Regional Director {West Asia and Middle East} of World Clown Association, Martin “Flubber” Dsouza is himself a clown, performer and trainer apart from expertly juggling the roles of an entrepreneur, compere, writer and publisher. Bringing together the best of clowns from around the world to showcase their varied talents, the festival {which started off in 2010} has been known to delight its audience {right from tiny tots to the most serious of adults} with the performances.

What's in store?

This time around, the event has a bigger lineup of artistes, including pantomime artists, jugglers, magicians, puppeteers, acrobats, bubble artists, stilt walkers and balloon sculptors. Make sure you don’t miss the exclusive 100-minute stage show by the band of clowns. Enough to keep us captivated for hours on end, we say. With even more activities to be undertaken across different cities of the country over a period of 30 days, this edition of the festival hopes to take amusement to a whole new level. So, get your family together and head out for some laughs and silly antics.
