The information in this post might be outdated

Don’t tell us that your favourite form of taking a break from work isn’t all about trawling shopping sites and discovering new labels and services on the world wide web; it’s ours, for sure. We’re putting good use to our favourite pastime and bringing you the best of our shopping and lifestyle discoveries every week.

Remember, you heard about the coolest and newest online shopping here on LBB first.

Joli India

Delhi-based Joli India, started by two close friends, Jonas and Lili, takes Indian craftsmanship to a whole new level with colourful palettes, urban silhouettes and a selection of hand-embroidered designs. We’re particularly struck by their printed bags made of lungi fabric, splashy ghunghroo keychains, multi-coloured totes and metallic clutches made of recycled plastic. They also undertake bulk orders. Check out their sale section for the best finds.

Karigari

Karigari, based in Delhi, is your one-stop shop for all ethnic jewellery. They incorporate Austrian crystals, kuda stone and make expensive-looking jewellery affordable. Their collection of dangling string earrings, maangtikkas, and jaadau earrings are among our favourites, although they do have a collection of baubles to go with your non-traditional outfits as well. Check out their ‘Buy 1 Get 1 Free’ section and ‘Under 500’ for discounts.

Mumbai-based Parvati Villa believes in celebrating women, seeing them as all-powerful, like a goddess, and this totally reflects in their collection of bracelets, cuffs and necklaces. Statement jewellery and bags with shakti and devi written in Hindi are among faves. Check it out this collection to be consumed by power. Oh, you go girl!

Micare Jewels

Micare is another halt for your fancy ethnic needs. Feeling regal in general, or have to go for a friend’s wedding? Their bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings featuring handcrafted gold-plated brass and baroque pearl are swoon-worthy, and we also really like their small range of maangtikkas.

India Kala

This is becoming our favourite place to shop for all things Indian-minimal. What we’re loving most are the Kolhapuri chappals and vegetable tanned bags made of natural leather, quilts featuring Kutch patchwork, stoles in mul mul cotton and lovely shawls in an earthy palette. We also absolutely adore their collection of jewellery boxes, wall hangings and coasters featuring Blue Pottery from Jaipur.
