With its minimal design and clean type, the exterior of the shop speaks for what happens inside.

Old and new motorcycle parts are stacked neatly at the back of the garage. The engine and other major components are retained to keep it street legal.

Motorcycles in various stages of completion at GGM. The bikes get a face lift to make them look and function a lot better than what you'd get stock in a showroom.

Components such as the seat and the handlebar grips are hand-stitched with leather upon request.

A look at the original bike - a Hero Impulse, before it’s re-imagined as a tracker styled off-road bike.

Some of these nuts and bolts are really hard to unscrew so you need to get that elbow grease going!

Parts that are not available in the desired colour are repainted by hand to suit the bike's final colour.

A small amount of fabrication ensures that all new parts fit perfectly together.

As the bike is dismantled and put back together, some of the parts require using sheer strength to fall into place, like this handlebar.

And there’s always KTM the Cat to keep you company when the electricity goes out!

Apart from working on the bike by himself, Rajaram hires local mechanics to help him speed the process of making the bike.

While one of the mechanics works on the Impulse, another  worker replaces the tank on a Royal Enfield.

An extra hand is always appreciated; one mechanic fixes the battery in while the other puts the new wheels in place.

Here's a look at the finished bike; a shiny clean engine and a fresh paint job are some of the things that may catch your attention.

A closer look reveals a professional air filter that suits the new aesthetic and shiny exterior of the bike.

Did we mention that the seat’s a swanky brown leather that now oozes suave yet remains highly functional?
