Ten-second takeaway

Celebrity Chef Vivek Singh from the iconic London restaurant Cinnamon Club presents a five-day culinary extravaganza at the Ritz-Carlton

Pinch of cinnamon

Why go to London when London is coming to you. In all its culinary glory as well. And since their national dish is Chicken Tikka Masala, effectively Chef Vivek will be bringing Indian food back home! Starting tomorrow, until November 7, Riwaz, The Ritz-Carlton’s Indian speciality restaurant will turn into a pop-up restaurant to represent the chef’s London properties, Cinnamon Club and Cinnamon Soho. So expect signature dishes from them as well as from his book Spice At Home.

East meets West

Known for fusing Indian and western culinary style with dishes such as Rajashtani Lamb and Corn Curry, Seared Scallops with Kadhai Spices, Cauliflower Bhujia, Puree, Grilled Aubergine with Peanut and Sesame Crumble, you simply must make your way to Riwaz for dishes such as these. And if Jude Law, Pierce Brosnan, Bill Clinton and almost every British Prime Minister since 2001, has been awestruck by the flavour, you can rest assured you will be too. Oh, and yes, Sachin Tendulkar too is a fan! November 5 lunch is to be signatures from Cinnamon Kitchen while November 6 sees specials from Cinnamon Soho on offer for lunch. For a special demo of certain specials, November 7 will see chef cook up stuff from his book. All other meals are a la carte and set menu starting tonight.
