What Makes It Awesome

If the 50’s pastel aesthetic appeals to you with their ivory and mint, or salmon (now known as ‘Millennial Pink’, we hear) with flourishes of gold, check out Midori Collective. The result of an illustrator - sculptor duo with a strong preference for minimalism, and a dash of Wabi Sabi, they hand craft cute curios, home decor pieces and jewellery in the aesthetic.

With a touch of whimsy in all the pieces they make, the tiny products are great trinkets (conversation pieces at home - think Wes Anderson Meets Minimalism). While some of them are functional, like the Oyster Trinket Dish, the Oyster Bowl, and ring stackers to name a few, the others are largely accessories (pendants mostly, but there are a couple of cute breakfast lapel pins that we love). Products a more or less limited edition, and no two pieces are alike as they believe that the unique imperfections add character.

Made with porcelain, and glazed with rainbow luster (so the pieces are all ever so slightly iridescent) the gold you see is 24k! If you thought that was fancy, then we’re letting you know that the Snow Owl, Tropic Lion, and Butterfly are embellished with Swarovski crystals! Because of the level of craftsmanship involved and materials used, products are priced between INR 900 and INR 5,000, so don’t get a heart attack when you’re at the checkout page.

What Could Be Better

Tableware that’s gilded with gold and/or is Swarovski studded need extra care if you’re actually using it to serve or eat food, so think your purchase through.
