I recently discovered a new place which is very unknown to most of the people and turned out to be the best place to have your holiday, away from the crowded chaotic Munnar in Nature’s laps.
Munnar has its own beauty, tea gardens and mesmerising view throughout but still, to be frank, I feel it has become overcrowded nowadays, you will find people all over the places or viewpoints. I was searching for the place which is less explored and unexplored in Kerala and found this hidden place.
I got to know about Vagamon because of Zostel property. I had stayed in Zostel at many places before so I knew the stay will be good and did little research about the place which was unknown for me and decided to take a chance to stay in Zostel which is in Vagamon 50 km away from Munnar on the way to Thekkady.
Believe me, this was the best decision I have ever made. This place is on the hill and clouds will be passing through the mountains. Vagamon is a small town among the hills, it has few resorts also. For adventure seekers there are many activities like trekking, paragliding and hiking etc. the best part of this place is it’s less crowded and you will be so close to nature. You can feel and touch the clouds which are just passing through you. Can’t describe that feeling in words.
I would definitely suggest heading to Vagamon instead of Munnar.
