I visited the Smoke House Deli in Prestige Shantiniketan mall on a weekday. The ambience is very beautiful and chic, done in black, white and red colours. Really liked how they have set up the deli.
Coming to the food and drinks, we ordered the below items :
STARTERS :
Crunchy Mozzarella Fritters: It was an okay dish, the issue is that the cheese was quite firm and wasn't really oozing out or warm.
BBQ Chicken Wings: This was pretty good. It was smoky and had teriyaki sauce flavour to it. Really enjoyed it.
Cheese and Jalapeno Spiked Cheese Toast: It didn't appeal to me. The cheese was all dried up and cold and the tangy jalapeno gave it a strange taste.
MAINS :
Penne Pasta in Alfredo Sauce: Please order this if you are a fan of white sauce pasta. It was pretty good. Recommended.
DESSERTS:
Tiramisu: Strong coffee flavour. Coffeenoiseurs will like it.
Philly and Plum Cheesecake : It was very smooth in texture. A good option.
Hazelnut Mousse: Another good choice.
DRINKS:
We also had some coolers: Apple Mojito, Three Two Tango, Kiwi-Melon and Moremelon. All were decent and a good accompaniment to the food.
Service is good and attentive. Overall, it was a mixed experience for me. The place scores well in some areas and also falls short in some.
