What Makes It Awesome?

Yes, Navroze is right around the corner, which is the Parsi New Year and falls on August 17. Parsis have unique traditions to celebrate Navroze, one of that includes the Navroze Bhonu, a special thali curated just for the day. Here, at Soda Bottle Openerwala the celebrations have already begun since August 12 and continue for 12 more days until August 24 until which the Navroze Bhonu is served.

The menu is simple for the Bhonu, Gajar Mewa nu Achar, an amazing pickle made with grated carrots which are mellifluous on one's tongue. Saria Papads are Rice Crackers. A fish pattice is wonderfully made with good amount of spices. Chicken Jardaloo is a subtle red chilli based Chicken Curry, whereas Kid Ghosh has tender lamb, cashews which is rich and awesome. One of the best Masala Dal is served with the Thali. For these curries, we have Rotli which is Ragi Rotti, a healthier substitute.

For Desserts, we have Coconut Macro on Crumble and Irani Falooda.
