Donne biryani mandi has one the best Donne Biryani in town. Donne Biryani is a famous Biryani which is the speciality of Bangalore, Karnataka. “Donne” means big sized cups /bowls made from areca nut palm leaf.
Unlike the common Biryani, this biryani is not layered nor rice is cooked separately. This is very similar to preparing any Pulao but its cooked with mutton/chicken stock.
The taste is very much different from other usual biryanis. Egg donne biryani from Donne Biryani Mandi is a must-try dish. This goes well with Garlic chicken and chilli chicken.
