City-based jewellery designer Chinanshu Sharma is out with her new range of baubles called Collection C by Paarisha. The contemporary collection of gold plated earrings and necklaces draws inspiration from abstract geometry, and is affordable too.

Uniquely Yours

Paarisha specialises in handmade, one-piece only jewellery, and is made for women by women. This new collection, designed by founder and designer Chinanshu Sharma, draws on the nuances of imperfections — both in the process of hand-making jewellery, and in ourselves — and celebrates how they make us unique. The necklaces and earrings are made predominantly of brass and are plated with 18-carat matte gold, with a few pieces featuring corals, pearls and turquoise. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, making it different from machine-cut jewellery. There are a total of 23 necklaces and 19 earrings in Collection C, and they’re selling out fast!

Going Abstract

We loved the abstractness of each piece — one looks like a dancing figurine, while another looks like a musical note. The uncertain shapes allow for individual perceptions to shine through, and our imaginations are certainly running wild! The design is sleek and modern, using shapes like circles, trapeziums and lines. They’re definitely something you can wear everyday: to the office, to a party or even as a statement piece to jazz up a simple outfit. They’re also really reasonably priced, so you might have to stop yourself from picking up more than one!
