Mumbai-based indie magazine subscription service, Paper Planes, is coming to Namma Bengaluru for a day-long fun pop up. They will set shop at Koramangala’s Third Wave Coffee Roasters. Along with browsing, feeling, reading and buying beautifully printed magazines across genres, from all around the world, there will be a coffee brewing session too for Paper Planes’ subscribers and Third Wave’s friends.

If you are already a Paper Planes subscriber or magazine buyer like me, then you will love the fact that you finally can look at all those delicious magazines that will range from genres such as food, culture, music, fashion and lifestyle, all under one roof, and make some purchases then and there instead of having to wait for online orders or wait for the monthly subscription to arrive.
Why Should I Go For It?
Coffee and leafing through gorgeous indie magazines? What’s not to love. At the pop up you can lay your hands on Paper’s Planes great curation of zines. In the past, Paper Planes has offered magazines {as part of their subscription service and also In Store section} such as Lucky Peach {so sad that this zine is no more after its May issue}, Gather from the Food genre, Kinfolk, Cherry Bomb, The Gentlewoman, Monocle, and Cereal from the Lifestyle & Fashion genre, and the likes of Apartmento and The Great Discontent from the Design & Architecture genre. Paper Planes also stocks independent Indian zines too.
Though the coffee brewing and tasting session is only reserved for Paper Planes subscribers {get a subscription, you!}, no one is going to stop you from grabbing your favourite kind of caffeine at Third Wave Coffee Roasters, and pouring over these fantastic magazines.
