Hello Paperless Boarding! Come 2019, Your Face Will Be Your Passport To The Bangalore Airport

In another first, our very own Bengaluru Airport is all set to become the first in the county to embrace facial recognition technology for paperless boarding. Next year, airlines like Air Asia, Jet Airways and Spice Jet will be the first to offer the seamless boarding experience to its customers. And others will follow soon. Using your Aadhar Number and your mobile phone digits, you will be able to sail through the glass doors of the airport and walk through the various checkpoints without too much of a hassle. The move, the airport operators hope, will help transform the customer experience while also contributing to the Government’s DigiYatra project.
