No Strings Attached: Create Your Own Hand Puppet At This Workshop

The information in this post might be outdated

What Is It?

A hands-on workshop by German puppeteer and musician, Paul Affeld {who is in the city as part of Goethe Institut’s cultural exchange programme, BangaloREsidency}, My Alter Ego will have you put on your thinking caps and bring out your creativity. Unlike usual workshops, this one even needs you to develop a character for your puppet. So, while you ask yourself what your alter ego is and what kind of puppet you would like to be, you'll also create a character to be turned into a glove puppet.

Who Is It For?

Puppet lovers of all ages and anyone who is up for the engaging, hands-on experience of creating a hand-puppet for themselves.

Why Should I Go For It?

While you get to have fun coming up with a character for your puppet and making it, there's more in store. Once you're done with creating your glove puppet, Paul {who is also the founder of the Berlin-based band, Puppetmastaz} will join the group of participants {and their new puppets} in a fun jam session, with him in his rapper mode.
