Step On Board From The Rajdhani Express Straight Onto An Air India Flight

The information in this post might be outdated

Hello world! You just got upgraded. Now no more anxiety about your unconfirmed ticket on the wait list if you are planning to travel by Rajdhani Express. The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation {IRCTC} and Air India have come together to make your travel experience stress free and how. They are initiating a process where you can get yourself upgraded to a flight on Air India if you are still stuck on the Rajdhani waiting list.

If you are wait-listed for the AC First Class in the Rajdhani Express, you don't have to pay a penny more to get your upgrade to the flight. Whereas, if you are on the Second and Third AC Classes, you have to pay only INR 1,500 and INR 2,000 for an upgrade. This works out pretty well, provided there are flights to and from your destination from Delhi. Hopefully, this will become a common format for more train services soon. This offer is expected to be all set within a week. In its effort to get more passengers, Air India is taking customer satisfaction very seriously and this initiative is a step towards that.
