Load Up On All Kinds Of Ramen This Rainy Season

What's Happening

Misu, the pan-Asian restaurant on St Marks Road, has kicked off a ramen festival that will run until September 20. And just in time for the rainy season. Featuring ramen (vegetarian, pork, chicken, beef or prawn options) that keeps it traditional, but has been tweaked to suit the Indian palette, we're suggesting you try a different ramen, each day of the week. Start with a Spicy Yaki Soba Noodles with pork. Then have the interesting Japanese-style buckwheat noodles that is wok friend and comes with spiced butter, soy, shiitake mushrooms and Chinese greens. Our favourite was the Spiced Korean Ramen with prawn, though the chicken options is delicious too. Purists, the original Miso ramen (soft boiled eggs et al!) is great, but if you want drama, try the Wai Wai Ramen. Spicy, soupy and in options of chicken, beef and prawn, this one is not at all authentic if you're looking with a Japan POV. But it hits all the right spots from the Nepal angle! Vegans, they have an options just for you as well.

How's The Venue

A swanky restaurant with chill vibes, it's got a very uptown feel to it. But don't be worried, the prices are reasonable, and we highly recommend this place to impress a date.

Price Includes

INR 400 for a ramen bowl, and happiness that it brings.
