Royal Enfield’s annual motorcycling festival, the Royal Enfield Rider Mania 2016 is kicking off next week, and there’s plenty of reason to book your tickets to Goa! With over 4,500 riders already registered for the three-day event, you can expect mornings to be filled with adrenalin-pumped experiences such as maze chases, slow races {may the slowest win!} and of course, trials which will see bikers navigating interesting obstacles. Who Is It For?
For anyone who is taken to seventh heaven at the bass sound of the beautiful Enfield engine. And for anyone else who appreciates the freedom and exhilaration riding a bike gives you. For those who aren’t too keen on bikes, this event might change your mind — you don’t need to ride a bike to appreciate the passion these 5,000 odd bikers have for the two wheels.
Why Should I Go For It?
In addition to stalls selling awesome merch, there’s going to be an off-road training session by experts. If you have a Himalayan, then even better — this is exactly for you! Drag races, workshops, live music performances and for noobs, there’s a track where you can learn to ride a bike and navigate the course. For those who are like Ewan McGregor and like building bikes, an exhibition of custom-made bikes will be on display. Oh, and also an Early Risers ride (Saturday, November 19 and Sunday, November 20} for those who want to explore Goa — from the Mahadai Wildlife Sanctuary to a trip through Panjim and Old Goa on a ferry!
