The iconic textile exhibition-cum-festival, Vastrabharana, returns to Chitrakala Parishat this year, for what will be its 26th year of existence. All you sari and fabric lovers, you cannot miss this one. Known to promote the tradition of local weaves and culture, this time too the Crafts Council Of Karnataka has a theme for the festival. Sarees, Our Heritage, Our Attire is the focus, so naturally you can expect weaves, textures, prints and textile cultures from across India -- both from mainstream brands as well as artisans and upcoming weavers. In addition to saris, you can see and then buy handcrafted cholis, made-to-order Kanjaris and Abhas with intricate details, and colours that will make a rainbow jealous.
