What Is It?

Don’t want to wait till the weekend to have a jazzy evening? Promising you some blues rock and jazz music, American composer and guitarist, Scott Henderson is all set to take over the stage at blueFROG with a mid-week gig. Known to be one of the few artistes to popularise the jazz fusion genre in the 80s, he is the co-founder of the band, Tribal Tech. Owing to his experience as an instructor and guitar mentor at Musicians Institute {USA}, the artiste has a masterclass in store for musicians in the city.

Who Is It For?

While it’s perfect for anyone who would love a Thursday evening of music to start their weekend early, jazz enthusiasts and aspiring guitartists are bound to be delighted with the opportunity to watch the musician teach and perform live.

Why Should I Go For It?

If you’ve heard Scott Henderson’s blues guitar solo, Dolemite or Well To The Bone with its distinct fusion edge, you really wouldn’t need any convincing. Of course, if you haven’t, that’s reason enough for you to head to the gig! Coming to town with French musicians, Romain Labaye and Archibald Ligonnière, we’re hoping to see him perform tracks from his 2015-released album, Vibe Station. Going by what Brett Garsed {Australian musician and songwriter} says, guitar players really have no excuse to miss the chance. Book your spots right away, folks.
