If you’re visiting Bali and you want a real taste of the island life then you definitely shouldn’t miss going to the Nusa Penida Island: an adventure wonderland. This place has plenty of secret spots that are mostly unknown to and unexplored by the mass tourists. Right from hidden beaches to secret waterfalls and snorkelling spots, Nusa Penida Island has a lot to offer.

One amongst such hidden spots is the Kelingking Beach that is located on the west coast of the island. It's one of the most photogenic and untouched spots on the island which makes it even more special. You will find multiple viewpoints at the top and around the edges of the cliffs but the best viewpoint has to be the one that makes the cliffs formation look like the shape of a T-Rex dinosaur. And if you’re one of the adventurous kind, you can trek down the broken stairway to the beach {at your own risk} and take a dip in the turquoise blue water {totally worth the sweat and tears}. Kelingking has some of the most incredible views I’ve ever witnessed. Words just cannot explain the feeling and it's definitely something you have to experience yourself at this serene spot in Nusa Penida.

The most suitable time to visit Nusa Penida Island is between March and November. And, the best way to reach Nusa Penida Island from Bali is to take a 30-minute fast boat from Sanur harbour. Once you reach the island the best transportation within the island is to either rent a scooter or rent a car with a driver. You can also hire a guide to take you to the secret spots as it's not easy to navigate by yourself because google maps won’t be of any help here.
