What’s on offer?
Well, the real question to be asked is what is not on offer at the Silver Bazaar because these fine folk really take talent to a whole new level. So from Pari’s Haute Couture, you can expect a beautiful range of block-printed ethnics that are made from organic cotton as well as a new range of nursing and maternity wear. Match your apparel with Kiyan by Yezdi, a collection of silver and beaded jewellery. Make a beeline to Anil’s stall for flowy gowns, chic cuts and funky asymmetrical outfits which will really set you apart. Of course that is not all: rugs, carpets, picture frames, tainted glass art and handmade silk and chiffon saris are also on offer in the merchandise section. Oh, also oodles of festive décor, courtesy Usha.

The whimsical bazaar will see Martha Kohlhagen set up shop with her famous preserves and jams under the banner Martha’s Preserves. And you certainly cannot say no to dollops of Lemon Curd, Pineapple Chilli Jam or a generous dose of Chocolate Fudge Sauce. Shobha Narain will spice things up with her line of pickles, called Naani’s, before Vikram takes over with freshly baked pies, quiches, cheesecakes and brownies.
Entertainment central
Then when you have a minute to spare, make sure you canter over to Jaya Nair’s lair where she’ll read tarot cards to tell you. But even without her soothsaying, we can predict that there will be a karaoke session beginning at 4pm. The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Elvis Presely The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan are expected to take centre stage here. Or at least their songs will!
