What Is It?

Bangalore is all set to host the sixth edition of Social Media Week {SMW}, touted to be India's biggest social media festival. Independently organised as part of SMW {a global platform that hosts regular conferences to explore the emerging trends and the impact of social media and technology}, the two-day event will have a diverse lineup of speakers sharing ideas on social media trends. And enough opportunities for you to interact with experts too!

Who Is It For?

Social media and tech enthusiasts, aspiring entrepreneurs, professionals from fields like advertising and marketing as well as students {hoping to learn a few useful lessons, perhaps?}, the conference is great to get tech savvy.

Why Should I Go For It?

Following the global theme for the year, The Invisible Hand: Hidden Forces of Technology (and How We Can Harness it for Good), there will be talks that delve into how technology, networked connectivity and data are changing the way we connect and communicate. Look out for speakers like Prahlad Kakar {ad film director}, Sandy Carter {General Manager and Developer for Ecosystem and Startups, IBM}, Jyotsna Makkar {Chief Marketing Officer at Microsoft}, Vipul Parekh {co-founder of Big Basket} and Aditi Gupta {founder of Menstrupedia}.
